Where is the start? Where is the finish?
The Boston Marathon starting line is located in Hopkinton at the Doughboy statue on East Main Street (near Ash Street). The race finishes on Boylston Street in Boston, directly in front of the Boston Public Library (700 Boylston Street).

Will the race be broadcast on television and radio?
Yes, the race will be broadcast nationally on OLN and locally on CBS-4, channel 4 and WCVB, channel 5.   WBZ 1030AM will also broadcast the race.

How can my family members “spectate” from home?
The B.A.A. will broadcast every 5Km split to its web site and family and friends can track your progress by logging in and entering your name or bib number. The "face" of the Boston Marathon web site will change on race day and the process on how to enter the search will be clear.

How can my family get to locations along the course, using public transportation?
