The indoor track season concluded at the New England Championship, Sunday, February 24 at Harvard University.
The team was led by two individual event champions, Mark Miller in the mile, and Matthew Ely in the 3000 meters. Miller took the mile title with a time of 4:13.25, winning by over 2 seconds. Mark capped off a solid season that saw him record time of 8:07.82 for 3000 meter at the Terrier Invitational in January. Ely controlled the 3000 meters from the gun and kicked home to win by nearly 2 seconds. This was Matt's second race of the day, having run a solid 4:19.26 (9th place) mile earlier! Terry Shea scored a PB in the 5000 meters, running 14:57.52., to finish second in the event. Also in the race were Ian Marcus, 15:30.06, and Ian Nurse, 15:36.71 (pb).
