Kasie Enman and Lucas Meyer Post Strong Performances at the USA Cross Country National Championship

Competing at the USA Cross Country Nationals in Derwood, MD on Saturday, February 7th, Kasie Enman and club newcomer, Lucas Meyer both posted impressive results. In the Women's Open 8k, Enman cracked the top ten with her 9th place finish. In the men's 12k, Meyer raced to a solid 11th-place finish.
In December, Enman placed 9th at the USATF Cross Country Club Nationals, leading the B.A.A. women to a third place finish. She has been the club's top cross country runner for the past two years.
Meyer recently joined the B.A.A. after moving to the area from the West Coast. A 2005 graduate of Yale, Meyer was a two-time All-American in cross country and outdoor track & field. He and recently competed in the Steeplechase at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Trials in Eugene, OR.
