On-Line Registration for the B.A.A. 5k Opens on Wed., March 3, 2010 at 9:00 AM

The second annual B.A.A. 5k will take place on Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. As with last year, the B.A.A. 5k promises to be a quality race and a fun part of the marathon weekend celebration!
The race begins at Copley Square Park and finishes at the Boston Marathon finish line on Boylston Street. The course is a scenic tour, mostly though Boston's Back Bay and Beacon Hill, and also taking in other notable neighborhoods and attractions.
Last year, the B.A.A.'s Maria Varela won the women's race in 17:37 while Jarrod Shoemaker took the men's title in 14:29.
On-line registration will open at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, March 3, 2010. The field size is limited to 5,000 participants and it is expected to fill quickly, so be sure to register early.
Please note that the only registration option is on-line, starting on March 3. The entry fee is $40.
